The Host Setup page is the control center for the game lobby. The host setup page is located at /host, and its counterpart Big Screen page is at /host/big.

Top-level options

enable qr mode / disable qr mode

Enables/Disables showing the joining URL QR code on the Big Screen.

add player

Opens an input window to manually add a player by the host.

Available roles

These are the roles available to add to the game. Once clicked, they will appear in the "roles in the game" area.

Roles in the game

This is a list of roles that are in the game and will be assigned to the players. Each of them can be clicked to configure various options.

Assigning

A role can be assigned to a specific player. To do this, press the role in the "roles in the game" area and then click "assign" in the pop-up menu.

One assigned, the "assignments" view will appear below "roles in game".

If clicked, this assignment is removed.

Player list

All players in the list are in the lobby and will be added to the game once it starts.

The player cards are color-coded (sorry to the colorblind I need to redo this aaaa): * Red: Player does not have the website open on their device (disconnected) * Green: Player has the website open (connected)

Starting the game

Once the "Start game" button is pressed, the game starts. Everyone will receive a role on their phone and will have to press "Got it".

The host screen and the Big Screen will be replaced with the Ready Screen.
